Job Summary

Coordinator I

• Coordinate successful business processes including operations, customer service and billing, provider payables and all other on-going quality assurance.
• Research all possible express routings via airlines, line haul, pick-up/delivery, scheduling and geographic servicing.
• Analyze routes for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Negotiate pricing as necessary with both customer and service providers
• Communicate and set up specific needs to service providers and follow-up to ensure on time service.
• Maintain on-time service integrity with a goal of 100% on time by monitoring and updating shipments throughout the shipment life cycle.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all TSA regulations regarding the Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program and Shipper’s Security Endorsements. And ensure compliance with all DOT, FAA, state and local regulations.
• Assist in the development and continuing refinement of a network of domestic expedited alternative suppliers.
• Continually assess transportation service capabilities and cost considerations in order to service customer shipments.
• Utilize current and developing Internet tracking applications to monitor shipments.
• Other duties assigned.
